The premium LLLL net

27 01 2008

I would be forseeing a reg out of the premium lettered LLLL.net in the near future. With less than 4k letter combinations of premium LLLL.net at the moment, the extinction of the premium letter LLLL.nets is just around the corner. Well I am registering all those premium LLLL.net ending with the vowel of a, e, i and o as these domains are most likely to be sought after by companies (end users). At the same time, I am also looking at the pronouncable LLLL.nets where I would predict that it would be a great investment in the future. The domain experts has put it in a way that the .net TLD would be 10% or lesser than the price of the .com counter parts. If the all premium CVCV.com would be sticked a price tag of $3,000, the .com counter park would be at least $300. Now, that is what I call a great investment for the returns of more than 5000%.

My portfolio

24 01 2008

In total, I have spent more than $7500 to purchase domains for investments for a total of 450 domains that I hold at the moment. Well, I have done a market value research on the domains that I own and it comes to a whopping $21,000 to $25,000 just by reselling it back to the resellers. Now, that would be a great 300% return of investment and I could not deny that I am contented at the results. This is not considering that I have some that would be of interest to the end users. However, I would not be liquidating my domains as the portfolio that I am holding at the moment would surely be of better price in 1 to 2 years in time. I am just waiting for the day that each of the domains that I own at the moment would reach to a value of $200 where it would convert to a gross profit of close to $90,000! However, at the meantime, I am still doing domain flipping for short term profits as well.

My bank is like a stock broking center

19 01 2008

Everyday in work is like a battle to me. There was no one time that I am not doing anything in the office. The fact is that things are so busy at work that you would virtually see phones ringing every minute, people typing frantically on the keyboard or those who bury themselves in paper for more than 8 hours a day. I am working in the mortgage department in that bank where the work is so much that it is like a stock broking center. I barely have time for lunch where our jurisdiction of work encompasses sourcing, servicing, inter department communicating, appealing, traveling, drawdown facilitation and many more. It is just endless. Sometimes, it is funny that we are being paid at such as low salary, that sometimes it does not seem to justify the work that is done by us in a year.

A few jobs

13 01 2008

I think that we have reached to a situation whereby the economic situation in the whole world being in a very bad state, that we have to at least work part time or take up another job or investment other than your main day job to sustain a living. The problem is that why is these are happening to most of the countries around the globe where we do not see this happening a decade ago?

Perhaps this is the result of the market getting more and more competitive or the deterioration of the natural resources worldwide? Perhaps it could be the more significant difference in the rich and the poor where the rich had became richer (not working) and the poor became poorer. Now, I am not an economist or any sort, but I would say that it is indeed hard to pull yourself from the average income earner to the rich side.

Non supportive superior

3 01 2008

What would it be like to have a non supportive superior in the place that you work? I would tell you the truth about it. It really sucks. Now, we have seen different types of superiors in many types of companies. Some like to shout at no reason, some would be just downward lazy, some exceptionally selfish and some are not even fit to be bosses.

However, the worse type of superiors that I have found out is those who would never stand up for their staff. For example, if one of the staff had made a mistake that had in a way jeopardized the company or department, the first thing that these types of superiors would say and act is like “I did not do it! It is Mr. so and so”. Now, what could be worse off than these aliens from another planet? They have to always remember that the staff’s failure is their failure as well.
